Wow, I didn't realize how busy I really was. Haven't posted anything for months. Well, I have been trying to get some things happening with the voice-acting and I did get a few gigs (which paid the bills for the month of May.) I had one of the best times ever shooting a short film this past July. It was a one day shoot for a "48 hour" competition. I was tagged to be the acting coach, but they pushed me into a small part. It really was the most fun I've had in awhile. If I do get a copy of the short I'll be uploading it to MySpace. I'll let y'all know.
My big project for the rest of the year is an after school program called "Kids Talk Story" where we teach writing to teenagers and the final product is there own story, published in hard cover. This not only teaches writing, but also gives the students confidence and self-respect to go for whatever they want to do with their lives.
There are also acting classes starting up at the end of August. This will be beginner to intermediate classes, so anyone who wants to join in let me know. I can't believe I'm turning into a teacher.
