I walked through the door and down the passageway where a light flickered in a strange green glow from the room at the far end. The air was thick with a sickly sweet smell that I couldn't place yet seemed so familiar, like a memory so long in the past. As I reached the entrance I caught a glint of metal from the corner of my eye. That chromed steel body was sleek, shiney and suited her well although the DXM pulse pistol pointing at my head was a little disconserting.
