So the past 6 days has been amazing. I have never been so surprised in my life, Kathleen is the Surprise Queen! Not only I was I surprised by her coming to Kamloops but she tracked down some of my friends and arranged a b-day dinner for me at Kelly O's on Saturday night before Gala. Some people didn't show up but that wasn't her fault, and I had an amazing time. I got to see Kari, Kimberly, Nicole & Vic, and Joey and eat my last Kelly O's meal before I move. Then we went to Gala and it was alright, I volunteered to work the door for an hour so I could get in free. We all took some great pics with Joey's camera though which I'll post later. And for my actual b-day on monday it was like a blizzard here. We were gonna do the 3 free b-day meals but we only did 1 at Denny's cause the weather sucked and I couldn't really drive. Then we just ordered chinese food and watched Anna Nicole Smith dvd's. My parents gave me $500, which was how much they were going to loan me for moving but instead they said it was my b-day present and I didn't have to repay them! I couldn't believe that! And then my grandparents gave me $100 too which is more than they usually give. So my bank account sits at $1,197 and it won't be touched until I move cause that's all I have to live on until I find a job. Kathleen got me this handbag I wanted from Aldo's, Ghost World dvd and Zoolander dvd which has to come in the mail. This was one of the best b-day's yet! And I thought it would suck! Who Knew!
