Hee hee hee. Myself, the dear boy from the previous entry and a girlfriend of mine will soon be singing "Two Ladies" from Cabaret, complete with choreography. If you are not aquainted with this song, please download it now for the good of your country. This song is SO up my alley that it's not even funny. "Two ladies! Two ladies! Und I'm zee only man, ja!" I'm also going to be singing "All the Wasted Time" from Parade with a fellow musical theatre enthusiast and Avenue Q's "Mix Tape" with scenework help from a darling drama-type I know. It'll be the perfect little farewell to the Toronto music theatre community. I think I'm also going to drop a Children of Eden bomb and sing "Stranger to the Rain." Man, I am SUCH a music theatre nerd.

Speaking of which, I watched the Tony's and swept the pool. I got something like 15/25 awards right... And the ones that I missed were mostly tech, although I was kind of surprised that Dirty Rotten Scoundrels didn't win more awards. I friggin' LOVE Norbert Leo Butz. His rendition of "Great Big Stuff" was definitely the highlight of the night. But, I definitely have a new music theatre crush. His name is Jesse Tyler Ferguson and he is absolutely adorable. He's in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee and I want to give him a huge hug and promptly marry him. Also, I friggin' love that musical. I'm a huge William Finn enthusiast, loving Falsettos and A New Brain, despite their limited success. There's this one song in Spelling Bee called "The I Love You Song" and it's simply gorgeous. It's this mother, father and daughter trio with such tight harmonies. Gah. Okay, I promise to stop gushing about musicals now.

So, what else? Well, I went to my first SG Canada East event and it was a little awkward. I didn't really know anyone there, I was only going to the sushi (not to the prom, which would have made the experience more logical) and I was the ONLY person not wearing black and pink. I looked so vanilla in my little turquoise sundress and my natural look. Oh well. I got there late, so I sat at the self-proclaimed kiddie table with Arden, her boyfriend, her friend, SwirlX, Lucy (for a brief period of time) and someone else whose screen name evades me at this time. Hey, the sushi was good and the conversation got less awkward just in time for my departure.

Then I went on a nice walk through the Annex, down to Kensington and along College because I had some time to spare and I felt like walking off some of my snacktacular meal. It was an interesting experience, because it was still very faintly light outside, nice and warm without being sticky and I felt inexplicably hot. I had a lot of fun turning heads (or, at least convincing myself I was turning heads) and practicing my coy eye contact. Sometimes you just need a hottie walk. It was nice.

Other than that, I'm just feeling good. I love eating frozen grapes, I have a really pretty green tank top that a friend of mine designed, I love listening to my Cabaret soundtrack and I love that I got some insanely hot makeouts at a cast party this weekend, including about 2 hours with the dear boy I was talking about in my last entry... So, who is to say? I'm taking things easy and having a good time with my last couple of months in Toronto before I move off to Montreal. I just need some more city friends... Want to hang out?

well of course you're absolutely right. When it comes down to it, that is truly the only real option. But it is helpful sometimes to have other people say it too, a voice outside of yours telling you what you already know.

So hey! you want to get into clowning, eh? Maybe in a year or three when I get my little indie circus up and running, touring the country living out of a fixed up doubledecker bus, you'll come with.
