so....freaking stupid. listen to this:
we have a show this weekend. it's my band from back at penn state - caught like fire - and it's our big final show. everyone agrees to make it back for this show, we're going to practice the day of, have a great time...it's been planned for about a month. on TUESDAY i get an e-mail saying, "sorry, the group that is putting on the show (a university organized group) just found out that they don't have enough money to pay the sound guy, and also they never booked time at the venue." WHO DOES THAT???? who books a show...WITHOUT ACTUALLY BOOKING THE SHOW? like, "well shit we don't have money to pay for it, and we're not even going to tell the venue that we're having a show, but we'll just wait till 5 days before the show to work out those details." BAH!
and then to top it all off, the stab! stab! stab! show that was supposed to happen next weekend on the 13th got postponed till february!!!! ahhhhh, SOMEONE BOOK ME SHOWS RIGHT NOW AND MAKE SURE THEY ACTUALLY HAPPEN
