all right, so here's the update i promised....an update of the weekend when it's almost time for the next weekend, but whatever, there's lots i've been meaning to type. i'm just about done with cartooning stuff, so that allows me more time for internet rambling...hooray! ok, where to start...
weekend was tons of fun. friday started off great, two roommates as mario and luigi, one as a gay jogger, and myself as don johnson circa miami vice headed out to tear up the party scene. unfortunately, mario was denied access due to his parents not birthing him earlier. laaaame. the party looked like shit anyway, so we just hung out in the south side and enjoyed the weather and the drunks. saw a black guy dressed as a jockey walking with a guy dressed as adolf hitler....that wins for my favorite couple of the night.
saturday night was super super fun. got to meet a lot of new people, including some SG's. mad mex was good food and i got to sit next to mistress missy who kept me entertained when i was sitting by myself. chatted it up with garbagepailkid as well, who came all the way from california. hopefully we can get him moved over here so he can play drums for stab! stab! stab! she who shall not be named on this site brought her friend ross (who i guess plays bass for Impaled) and he and i bonded over not knowing anyone. later we all headed down to goth night at laga and i got a chance to talk to more people, including nicole lee for the first time. she was super nice. i happened upon Alexis, and we hit it off right away. goth time ended and everyone piled back into the hotel. it had been a long night, so i only stayed for a bit. since everyone was partying in her room and i lived right up the street, alexis - ready for bed - came back and crashed at our place. both of us tired then proceeded to stay up way too late talking - she's way fun. so after taking her back to the hotel in the morning, i got free continental breakfast....woo fucking hoo! i then slept all of sunday.
ok, this is way too long as it is, but a couple other quick notes as to what's been going on.
1. handstands - the roommates and i have decided that we need to learn to do these, but it has just ended up in us hurting each other and laughing a lot. everything is funnier upside down...EVERYTHING. i now have a cut open shoulder and elbow due to this. one day i will be able to do handstand pushups and possibly be the toughest person alive.
2. remember that girl i talked about finding out i worked with - the annoying one that i went to school with in 7th grade and hadn't seen since then? i ate lunch with her today. she's like the perkiest, nicest person ever - almost to a fault. so get this, in 11th grade she got fucking cancer all through her chest, missed the whole year, most of her senior year, lost a scholarship to OXFORD cause of it. now she works 7 days a week, lives by herself, is super susceptible to lukemia and will more than likely have life threatening heart problems later in life, yet is still all smiles when she sees you and asks all about your problems (and remembers the problems from before). so anyway, fuck my problems. seriously, fuck anything i ever complained about...that blows me away.
3. i just discovered that i like cursive's the ugly organ a whole whole lot. them and amon amarath...what a combo

you are a real hottie and the costume was spot on. i wish i had of seen the jockey and hitler duo. man if that isn't the most classic halloween picture i don't know what is.
