killcast

it has definitely been forever since i updated my journal. a weird couple of months. it's also tough when i lose touch with the community here and see more and more grey in my friends list. ah well, sometimes it's just nice to write if only to yourself.

the kitten that i found on the side of the road as of last post has turned into an amazingly healthy cat. i have never been much of a cat person as they make me sneeze a lot, but i have a warm spot in my heart for Bruce. i also probably still like him because he doesn't live at my place, but rather a friends. cats are like kids are like monkeys - lots of fun, but when you're done having fun with them it's nice to give them to someone else to clean up.

i joined two bands. one is crazy tech grind stuff, the other is sleazy rock n' roll. Both are fun for different reasons - the techgrind one has been busting my ass to get the bass skills back up. keeps me honest about my playing.

I for some reason have been thinking a lot about what I would tell me kids if they ask me how the world works. Like gravity or screw drivers or atoms. Not that I am even pining for kids or wishing for a family - just keeps popping into my mind. This paragraph was randomly brought to you by "capitalization". Back to lower case.

anyway, that's about it. band stuff, work....i started a new film project but blah that's boring stuff. i'm way pumped to see lion the witch and the wardrobe on friday. those christians know their allegory, i tell you what.

oh and also since i last wrote i read and watched the first 4 harry potter stories. i can now add +1 to my nerd status.

well now that i remember i'm trying to teach hipsters D&D, let's up that by 2.
