Well, the day has finally arrived and this week has flown by way too quick. Working hard 12 to 14 hour days in the studio with Kitsch. It's 12 midday on Friday and we've almost finished tracking the drums. got 3 more weeks of tracking then an 8 day mix after that. If all the work up till now makes any difference then we'll have a good album. I'm half quietly confident and half shiting my pants.
House-hunting wise, we've got a few new places to look at on Waiheke Island this weekend. We're gonna need a big place, e.g. 4 bedrooms because Matty (my partner in crime) might live with Sarah and I until we finish the next concord dawn album, which will hopefully be in July. Again with that album, half quietly confident and half kacking myself.

It's 9:15 PM and we're still in the studio editing drum takes together. 30 more mins then off to the pub. These 14 hour days are killing me.
Update 2!!
It's 12:45 PM on Staurday and we've got 2 songs to go drum tracking wise. Dan (Kitsch's drumer and microphone murderer) is gonna be a very happy man when this is all done. We must have had him play almost 200 takes of drums so far. His hands are a blistered mess.

8:20 PM Still working on tracking the drums for the last song. We're all tired and overworked but we must overcome.
