So fairly often I don't see anyone at all for a week or two. This used to be longer but now I have some people I like to see in London :) anyway when I am not seeing anyone and I have no work coming up I tend to not speak at all.
If I go to the supermarket I use the self-checkout, if I go out at all I normally just use hand gestures to convey things to people and then I am back at home. 99% of the time I won't use my voice at all, I might type to people but I don't actually make noises :p
So after a while of doing this I always think that my voice sounds weird because I haven't heard it in a while and then I wonder if one day I will just not see anyone for a year or so and forget how to talk completely and when i start again it'll be really weird and stuff
Anyway... does anyone else go through phases of just not talking out loud for long periods of time?
