So on Saturday I baked some nom cookies that I forgot to take a picture of since taking pictures of food to share with people and make them jealous of the food you have just doesn't make sense to me. Anywayyyy it was these ones Snickerdoodles, and I was making them to take with me to see @huno for our meal + presents night before everyone runs off to different places.
I should have known that we would be running on spanish time :D so "get there at 7" really meant "get there at 9" mainly because @huno had put the meat on to defrost and not to cook in the oven ;) I do love her but she is silly sometimes.
On to much more important things... there were so many presents for everyone :D there were 7 people in total and at least 1 present for each person. That means there should have been 49 presents but it was more like 65 :D
So I got a few awesome things ^^ and I can finally share what I was making for @huno.
The last one was knitted by @huno and I was and still am amazed that someone would spend so much time on something just for me :$ It spent last night sleeping with me and will probably spend all future nights there as well :D
I mean honestly how fucking awesome is that Stegosaurus!! I should explain all the dinosaur themed things :p I have a habit of pretending to be a dinosaur occasionally and going GRAWRRRR!! and then many years ago someone said I was a dinosaur and it kinda stuck. @Huno came to the same conclusion as well after we'd been talking for a while and so it spread to everyone else :p and now I am a Dinosaur and I get awesome Dinosaur presents which tbh is great xD
So I don't think my present for @huno was even in the same league but I will make up for it on her birthday ^^
The awkward moment when my sister got home and goes "why are you sitting there staring at a naked woman" and I had to explain that it was my friend and I was copying her tattoos...
In the end I had an amazing night with some great people and lots of delicious cooking and some hugs :) I doubt I will post again before christmas, so have a great time everyone and enjoy your presents <3
