Hi y’all! I’ve been around here for awhile (20 years in April if you can believe it?) so I thought I’d share some SG facts and tips by highlighting different groups on the site. Starting this off with the Everything SG group, since that seemed like an easy option.
What is the Everything SG group?
This group is meant for staff to share updates or announcements, but also is a place where members and models can get help in a group setting. Here you can find the Bugs Thread to report issues around the site and include your screenshots or links, Rules and Regulations (for instance, what constitutes spam?), and this is where @Penny posts the weekly Blog Homework should you like to participate. This is also a place for you to share general links to sets and comment on who you think has the best smile on SG or what your favorite pictures are.
Who should use the Everything SG group?
Uhhh, everyone, honestly. This used to be the easiest place to get updates on the site but we have also created the @Announcements profile which is also super handy! Please follow that profile if you haven’t already!
What should you NOT post in the Everything SG group?
Basically, if it could have been an email or blog post, make it an email or blog post, haha. If you want to post your Blog Homework for instance - post that in your blog. If you have gripes about SG or want to give us ideas, you can email, post a blog, tag staff in the blog, etc.
What are the important threads in the Everything SG group to be aware of?
