Hi friends! I can't believe July is already almost over? Things have been a little stressful for me lately. One of my work gigs has slooooowed down (the freelance editing) and I'm holding my breath because the music industry is notoriously slow in August (we have four events total haha). But come September and October, it's gonna be BUSY. We have a stretch of I think 8 shows in a row in October? So I just gotta pinch my pennies a little bit until then.
Except for... I may have just bought a new car last night. Well, new to me, a 2020 Corolla. I've been driving the same red Chevy Cobalt since 2007. Fifteen years of the same little car, who's brought me from Connecticut to Vermont to Virginia to California to Texas and there's a part of me that's truly sad about losing it. It's just going to my brother though, so it won't be too far away. (sad)
