Okay - so I survived Covid. Lost my sense of smell and taste for one day, though sauces are still tasting a little chemical-y. I slept for three days straight and in between watched my garbage comfort show VanderPump Rules because that's what you're supposed to do when you're sick, right?

I'm feeling a little stir crazy right now. One of the jobs I do (freelance editing) is slow as fuck, which is STUPID because I just moved into my new place and now money is a little tight. But things are different than a few years ago and I'm able to mostly afford it because I am an adult, at least in theory.

I started a new class this week, finished 2 within the last week, which is something to be proud of. Not sure if I got Covid because I over work myself but it seems like that's a possibility. One day, I would like to only have one job again. It's always the worst in the summer because I get super FOMO and feel like I should be doing something when in actuality I never do a damn thing all summer long.

I don't know, I guess I'm just feeling a little sad right now because I didn't sleep a lot last night. Yesterday my roommate and I went to go see a friend who's been working at nearby resort. We went in the lazy river and had a drink, and then ran out of gas on the side of the road an exit away from our apartment. I couldn't sleep last night because my brain was wired from the adventure. But it's fine... EVERYTHING IS FINE.

Honestly... I could go for another afternoon of lazy river-ing.

Glad you are feeling better!  If you get too bored, just grab some innertubes and raft down a river.  Good times.

It may be hard at the moment but things like this are TEMPORARY. That’s what I always tell myself to push through! Don’t let these things bring you down. You will laugh about it in the future and be even stronger for overcoming the anxiety and stress of situations ♡
