So maybe I'm a little lame and I don't really "go out" anymore. But @rambo came up with a really great blog homework including playlists... So even though I don't go out too often, tell me one of my favorite drag queens is in town and I'm fucking there! Here's a couple songs that I would loudly listen to while covering my face in glitter and every color of the rainbow:
1. Peaches - of course! I definitely used to play this years ago when I would go out, going to townie bars while living in Connecticut....
2. Spice Girls - it was a tie between this and Spice Up Your Life, but I like this video better. I'd probably take hair inspiration from my spirit animal Ginger Spice, too.
3. Robin S - Show Me Love - If it's early 90s and RuPaul has made a queen lip synch for their life to it, I am probably obsessed. I would most likely be lip synching for my own life while doing my eyebrows to this song, and reminiscing of how Trixie Mattel killed this lip synch and didn't deserve to go home, dammit.
4. Alaska Thunderfuck - this song had me at the line: "if you see a flaw, squint."
5. RuPaul - Geronimo. Sorry, boys, but there is gratuitous male twerking in this video. I can't stop listening to this song ok?!!!?
