I have to vent for a few minutes...
I have mutual friends who are in a local band here in Baltimore. So... I went to one of their shows last night. Cheap.. $5 tickets and like 5 bands. And I realized just how much I dread all ages shows like that. I felt like a fucking chaperon. Aside from the fact that I only saw about 5 people there who were of legal age to drink, and a few people who HAD to be parents of kids there... Everyone else was like 13-14!!! What the fuck is that?
Such annoying scene kids who think they are so fucking cool walking around with cigarettes that they don't inhale and looking "oh so cool" with their "i'm unique, but look like everyone else here" attitudes. I wanted to dropkick every one of them in their trendy little gelled up hair-dos. They were all loud as fuck, like "OH MY GOD!!" and "TOTALLY!!", running around like they were on speed or something. I can understand they probably don't get out of the house much.. and they were happy to be at a "real life concert" with all their little friends... but jeebus christ, relax!
Definitely take notes kiddies, you can be one of the 10000 clones I saw of this kid last night.
