No offense taken, and you are lovely for being concerned! Unfortunately, the "works too much" excuse they all used is ostensible. Long before I started working all those hours, I lost the group. There are a lot of details to this, but I'll try to keep it short (I can fill you in on the details another time): MC and I broke up and I wanted to be away from him but we still lived together. So, when he would go out with the group, I would stay home just to have a few hours to myself. If I wanted to hang out with any of them, I would have had to hang out with him too, and I just couldn't. They knew that, and didn't care. Not one of them called me. It wasn't until October that I started working so much. By the end of November, I finally had gotten the work stuff somewhat under control - I couldn't do stuff on week nights, but weekends were definitely doable. It was MC himself who kept me from getting invited to things then, because he didn't want to tell me (another long story) about J. I haven't been invited to anything other than a Wednesday since... September, I think. Now, I definitely plan on coming to Tuesdays (Weds were a bad night for me) but I think MC has blown it with me. I've tried really hard to forgive him for everything, but I just don't think I can.

Anger is a poison. I hope you canlet it go. I am sure you have a past too and wouldn't want him to be jealous. Don't let it hurt the time you have with each other now.
