so i came home & of course its freezing my damn apt (the joys of having a corner unit that faces the lake! damn wind) i lit a whole bunch of candles and turned my oven on (cuz i don't have control of my heat.. but the oven seems to work pretty well for temp purposes) ... and then went to work on my computer.. as i'm workin away, i start to smell something and thought maybe it was from my oven, so i turn around to go shut the oven off.. and one of the fuckin candles is ON FIRE! HELLO! there was a flame the size of a grapefruit shooting out of this glass jar candle..

i sorta stood there stunned... didn't really know what to do.. so i have a bottle of water in my hand & procede to pour it on the candle.. yeah.. that made it worse (duh!) and now the glass shatters & shoots everywhere.. yes.. along with the wax! and now the flame is bigger and the fucking thing sounds and looks like fireworks! & i'm starting to freak out cuz i don't even think i have a fire extinguisher in my place.. so i run in the kitchen & get towels & put the towels over it.. that worked.. now there's smoke & sticky stuff everywhere.. and my attempt to warm up my apartment is now making it colder, cuz i had to open windows to get rid of the smoke damn it!
