So finally a tour has been booked and we are leaving tomorrow.

I'm nervous and excited at the same time, kind of like a 10 year old on a christmas morning hoping his sexually deviant uncle isn't downstairs waiting for him dressed as santa claus, pretending to be stuck in the chimney and needs a some one to tug on his "candy cane" to free him, like last year.

We will be living out of a van, that might die, with little money, living off of tuna fish, ramen, and pb&j or as Matt would like PB&P (peanut butter and pussy).

I'm prepared to be congratulated, high fived, spanked, slapped, spit on, kissed, hugged, and punched after the sets we play. I'm prepared to smell like a crack fiend who's been fighting a ghost for days with out food.
I'm prepared for the onslaught of underaged girls who hope to sleep with us so they can tell their friends, or the onslaught of dudes who want to bro out in the van and get tipsy. I'm prepared for the onslaught of girls who will be throwing rocks and bottles at me because i chose to attack their intelligence and self-esteem and the onslaught of dudes who want to kick my ass because i attacked their girlfriend's intelligence and self-esteem.

I'm prepared.

The week leading up to our departure was chock full of bad omens, signs, warnings, etc.
costing us thousands before we even leave.

but we are going to play every damn show to the fullest, and try to leave everyone in those less than half full venues speechless.

We will play our best, we will play our worst, but we will love doing it.

So if you are in any of these towns when we pass through, stop by, throw us a beer, a hug, a empty bottle filled with hatred, and say hi.
