So I am an improvisor again. Two years of mutually agreed upon exile have passed, but last night was my first rehearsal/practice. And by God (or James Carville or Grant Morrison or whomever) was it fucking fun.
It's a very interesting thing to be in a room with 17-20 other people who are trained to be "on" for 5-8 minute stretches with one another on demand. You know you can make funny, and you do it.
It is fucking beyond my understanding how people say "Oh I couldn't get up there and do that!" Of course you couldn't right then and there. But even Molly McSoccermom could train a little and, just, make some funny. I've seen it.
So anyway, I'm back with my fellow bastards of funny.
