Ahh Wednesday.... also known as my Friday! My wife thought I was mad or something last night, she said I seemed distant. I wasn't mad at anything I was just tired. Of course she said she's been tired for the last 9 years and 4 months.. Hmmm we've been married 7 years going on 8, our daughter is 2.. I moved back to Va Beach from Green Bay right about 9 years ago and 6 months ago... She could mean since she started working where she is still working... I hope thats it at least.
Gosh has it really been almost 10 years since I left Green Bay? *sigh* Yes I know its cold in Green Bay, but it really is a great city. I miss it immensely, (thanks for Firefox's spell checker) but there is no way I will ever be able to get my wife to move there. Even though it was one of the reasons I moved back here. She said she wouldn't move to Green Bay with out a commitment.. she got the commitment, but we're still here in Virginia Beach. Oh well no point in dwelling on it, it's not going to change. Bright spot is we are all going back to visit my parents and my sister next month for a long weekend. That will be nice, I think my daughter needs to know my parents as well as my wifes. It's difficult though because my mother in law watches my daughter 3 days a week while we work. And don't get me wrong I have WONDERFUL in laws, I really do. They do so much for all of us. It's just... being homesick I guess. I miss seeing my family.. although like Ember posted a few weeks back.. sometimes your glad for the visit to end
Need to get some new clothes this weekend for my brother in law's (who is doing almost perfectly fine now, thank you everyone) first communion on the 21st. The NFL Draft is the 28th and 29th, yes those are big days for me... The lawn needs to be mowed... I think i'm gonna get the quarter round down for the flooring we put in, I keep hoping I was gonna get some help but it doesn't look like it.
So whats going on with all of you?
