I really resent whatever Gods are at play that curse me with troubled dreams when I attempt a nap in between writing. Further, it really chaps (chafes?) my hide that I can't remember any of them so I can sort them out.

Number three complaint: now I'll be up all night. I'm starting the post-finals ennui like I'm prone to do. Shiz.

I have this problem. When I have something big to accomplish, everything sort of files itself underneath that project and the longer I put it off, the harder it is to finish and do pretty much anything else. I'm a bit nervous about a few things I'm working on, including plans for my final project for my masters. It's tough since I pretty much no longer believe in one ounce of tradition in music -- everything begins at this moment and as soon as that passes, it's over, baby. What's a freaking stupid artist to do?

I want to work for the UPS (USPS) and settle into some little button-down life where my biggest concern is what color of rocking chair to buy.

Then I hear a great CD like this one from Maya Dorn and it's so f-ing amazing it makes me actually reconsider my ban on "folk" music, and I think I can maybe do somethign like that for someone.
