i got a really cool chair tonight. it was going into surplus cos some professor left it in the hall for like three months. surplus = a warehouse for three months and then to Salvation Army. F that!!
I drove my car up to the door to pick it up. i parked in the 30 minute zone. i come out with the chair and they are about to put a boot on my car (is there a funky spelling for a car boot?). i'm like, "Um, why? I've only been here for ten minutes." I have four outstanding tickets on campus and i guess they ban you for that. Shizzy. So i calm down and accept it. He says he has to give me a citation and to go down and talk about it tomorrow - a $300 citation.
I bought a $300 chair. It is metal with square black cushions. the sitting cushion slants up a bit and fits me perfect. it will be perfect for my minimalist studio apartment I'm moving into when i can afford it COS I GOT A FUCKING TICKET!!!!!!!!!!!
