i wrote my guidelines
on the back, of a cereal packet
placed it on the shelf
knowing you'd read it one day.
i wrote my heart's words
on the inside of a crisp packet
before i fetched them for you
to ease your hunger
i wrote my lyrics on your arm
i told you not to wash
it meant i loved you
those secret words covered in lip balm
i sung you to sleep
when you were already gone
it proved nothing
but that i wanted to be
one who matter a consequence,

mostly. hide and seek with a small girl in a pushchair in nationwide. a squirrel on the scaffolding. working till my limbs fall off and my arm is one massive burn. flitting between okay and better. drunk social activities and even none drunk. nothing much of interest. not for the last week.
