Happy Birthday to ME!
Usually, I spend my birthdays looking back....I don't think I wanna do that anymore.
It's Damn well time I started looking forward, and stopped wasting time looking back.
Michigan next week! And the Michigan Rennaisance Festival!!
I love taking long road trips! I just hope I don't fall asleep at the wheel like i did two years ago on the way back.
I did'nt wreck or anything. But when I realized what happened, I scared the living shit outta myself!
This time I'll make sure that if I get that feeling again, to pull over somewhere and take a little nap.
It's a 16-hour drive! But I made sure last time to make frequent stops at least every couple of hours.
I'd better stock up on the Jolt Cola just-in-case though! That stretch of Interstate Highway 57 between Marion, Illinois and Effingham, Illinois is the most BORING stretch of road I've ever been on! The most exciting feature you pass there is a state prison! I almost hope there's a riot or breakout as i pass it just to keep me awake!
Gotta remember to get an oil-change on the Blazer before and after the trip, too. It is about a 3000 mile round trip, y'know.
