Forgive my shameless promotion of this game....but this game if FUCKING ADDICTIVE!!!
It is so awesome.
This is a game I would recommend, even to people who hate video games!!!
If ever in your childhood (or your adulthood for that matter), you listened to your favorite song and just had to stand up and "Air Guitar" the solo....then you must play this game....even if you hate video games!!1
And you must play it with the Guitar Controller. Using the regular controller is no substitute!!!
You have to have the feeling of holding the fret down and strumming the strings!!!
My Brother has played the guitar a little, and says it's not quite like playing for real, but it's still way too much fucking fun!!! And you still get the fantasy....you become completely immersed in the fantasy that you're up on stage at the show, nailing the solo, and driving the crowd Wild!!!

I'm not saying "Rush out and Buy it!" No, actually, mostly places that sell games, and have demos for them, should have this one up for demo. Go there! Give it a go! You will become addicted!!

Earlier this year, my Dentist put a crown on one of my molars....only, he botched the job!! An hour later, after the anasthetic wore off, I was in such pain, I was in tears. I returned to him immediately to fix it. Turns out he hit the nerve and it was swelling inside the crown. He redrilled to take the pressure off, and it took the major pain away, but I've had trouble with that tooth ever since. but since it did'nt cause me any major problems, I left well enough alone.
About a month back I noticed it starting to get "tender" to the touch. I decided to get an appointment to have it fixed permanantly after the Holidays.
Friday afternoon, I woke up with that same severe pain again. Fortunately, I still had some Vicadin from the last time, and could get back to sleep. It did'nt come back again, so I wrote it off to "sinus pressure put on the nerve" and went to work with no problems.
Saturday night at work, the pain hit me again, so badly that I had to go home. I ended up taking four Vicadin with Tylenol and the pain still never completely went away.
But when I woke up tonight, no pain whatsoever!! It's been about 16 hours since my last painkiller, and nothing. It's still tender to the touch, but I can chew at least.
I'm going to the Dentist this morning, and he's either going to pull it, give me a root canal, or I'm getting another Dentist!!! That nerve has to be dying or something!!

Every year at Christmas, I not only get gifts for my family, but I also tend to get one nice gift for myself. Sort of a reward for not going bankrupt over the past year I suppose. I just get myself something, OK!!
This year, I decided to buy two things actually. And you know me....I got Single Malt Scotch and Imported Dominican Handrolled Cigars!!
The cigars were the "Early Bird Special" from Thompson Cigars.
125 Handrolled Domincan Cigars for below cost!! They ended up being only about $0.75 apiece, which is good even for off-brands, which they are. So I'm in decent smokes for the next two years!!! (as I only smoke about one or two cigars a month)
The Scotch on the other hand was a little more extravagant.
Talisker. This is a Single Malt that I've been searching for, for years. This stuff isn't cheap either. Cost me around $65 for a fifth of their regular line stuff.
But why would I go out of my way to purchase this brand in particular, you ask??
Talisker distilleries are the only producer of Single Malt Scotch, as a matter of fact they are the only distilllery whatsoever........on the Isle of Skye! In the Inner Hebridies off of the western coast of Scotland.
The Isle of Skye is the home to Castle Dunvegan....the seat of Clan MacLeod.
And if you've been keeping up with my journals, you know that I am descended from MacLeods on my fathers side, and am an official member of Clan MacLeod, U.S.A.
So Talisker, isn't just a libation for me.....it's another connection to my heritage.
