Last night at about 9:45 pm, 15 minutes before I have to be at work, I get a phone call....


It's my sister. She says she has some news for me....


I'm going to be an Uncle.


I really don't know how to react. Me! An Uncle!

I'm still somewhat in shock. After getting off the phone with her I was speechless for about an hour.

I'm happy for her of course....but something about this is bothering me.
Not the fact she's having a baby, I'm fine with that.

It's the father of the baby that has me worried....or more to the point, the fact that she's marrying him.
I would'nt be worried, except for the fact that my sister has a history of dating creeps and assholes.
The last guy she was engaged to was a real creep!
He turned out to have a criminal history as a sexual predator, AND, shortly before their wedding day, HE WAS ARRESTED ON MORE CHARGES OF THE SAME!!
(that ended the engagement, suffice it to say)


Maybe I'm just being the "over-protective brother". I dunno.
I'll just have to reserve my judgement until I meet this guy.






But if he hurts her..............

,,,,,,,,,well, let's not think about that till it happens. (I'll have such tortures devised that Hell hath not even dreamt of!)
