Why didn't you tell me there were wineries around.
Now I can be a proper alcoholic but disguise it by calling myself a connoisseur.
Buying 5 bottles of wine at shoprite makes me a loser. Buying 5 bottles at the vineyard makes me refined.

Now, befriending someone that works at a winery is total win! One of my best friends worked as a sommelier and later at a winery nearby. Not only do you get the good stuff, but by the case, near at-cost. Yay purple teeth!

Yes, Bonny Doon tasting room on the old winding road is gone...They have a bright shiny high tech one in the area...but I haven't been...the old one was just too nice...Many have peacocks so i can't help you there...smile...So many have gone "big"..there are still a few small originals up around Kenwood in Sonoma county...Come on out...take the tour..smiles
