Sharona1881 is my hero.
Despite her own health issues that she's facing, she came out to help us out last night.
mydogfarted was told that it was a bad plan to bring the girls into the ER and was forced to take them home to deal with them on his own. He knew that I would need help the next day while he was at work so he drove out to pick up Rach. Rach helped with getting kids to bed (while I sat in the hospital) and slept over and this morning took the girls out for a long walk and some play time down by the water. I got to relax and focus on healing.
I've been having a rough time today dealing with Doctors. I called my GP and asked for a return call. (As it turns out the Xanax helped me sleep AND I didn't need the diaper!!! Though I've been off and on the toilet all day again) If the test results are back we can start treating whats going on. I was basically told to wait for the results which will come in on Monday. The problem is that I'm not sleeping. Because I'm getting up so frequently. I didn't get a call back so at 7pm I called again and had the Dr on call paged. They had the lead Dr of the practice call me back. (Same guy I saw on Wednesday) I explained that what he gave me (lomotil for those playing at home) didn't work and I ended up in the ER completely dehydrated - right down to the sunken cheeks. I told him that they sent me home with Xanax and a diaper and that I was actually able to get a reasonable amount of sleep! And while I don't need Xanax to make it through the day, I do need sleep to make it through the day. I told him I only need enough to get through the weekend. (3) he said "no problem I'll call it in."
I got an email shortly thereafter from Walgreens telling me my script was ready. Quantity: 30.
So while I dislike all the other Doctors in the practice this particular one is pretty fucking awesome.

Ick. That sounds pretty awful. Congrats on finding an awesome doctor, though! Hope you start feeling better soon!
