So I found out a few hours ago and I've put off posting because I knew that typing it would make it... "real"
What a world I live in that I can carry on and not be effected until I blog about it...

Grandpa died this morning.
We knew it was coming (obviously if you read my blog a few days ago). I'm relieved that all the waiting is over. I'm relieved that my grandmother can finally get some closure and have more psychological space. (Though he's been such a big part of her life I would not be surprised if she deteriorated rapidly in his absence. She always needed to be strong for him, without him will she still be strong?)
But I'm still in tears.
He really was an amazing man.
