We're in Ottawa for at least 2.5 weeks. MDF is gutting the back room so the girls will have fresh new walls (instead of panelling) new carpet (instead of peel and stick vinyl in a horrible green marble pattern) and their room will be the playroom - which is convenient because it's right beside the living/dining room.
We finally got D's birth certificate on Tuesday, which means we had to apply for her SSN, after that arrives we can apply for her passport. So HOPEFULLY we don't get too much of a hassle at the border for her not having a passport yet. We couldn't delay the trip until she had one because I needed to leave the US before Feb 7th. (My visa expires) We've also sent in all the paperwork for the first step in the process to get me in Jersey as a permanent resident.

Mark just got his Perm Res Card Last week we were so happy ... Now we have 2 years to relax about it well 1 1/2 then its interview time and he can apply for dual citizenship
