I've been cruising around in the new Volkswagon Very nice. Also getting sunburnt. Also very nice. I need friends to come out w/ Me to Marblehead beach, where I have been every day after work reading this book, "American Gods" by Neil Gaiman.
Last night I ate dinner there and read until my eyes hurt, and until there was almost no light left. I had a towel and sunglasses. I had the new Volkswagon. I had some french fries. What more do you need?
But I was really lonley. REALLY lonley. I miss my man friend. He is too busy these days. Plus he hates the beach.
I ought to hate the beach too....I mean, I don't tan. I BURN. Lobster coloured.
But I like the way the burn feels, I like the way the sun feels, I like the sounds the ocean makes.
And I LOVE french fries.
If anyone needs me, I'll be on a black, orange, or green towel anytime from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Before 4:00, I will be working. You can find me in the laboratory.
After that, It's Marblehead Beach.
For the rest of the summer.

besides my work shift is twelve to eight..
sucky hours to say the least.
