Man the last two days have been great. We'd been planning to go see Tron in Orlando IMAX 3D for a while now and last night I made pizza (yummmmm) and watched the first Tron. I didn't make it to the end but felt like I had seen the movie a million times from the discussions and descriptions Stacston has been talking to me about for a while now. We had 4 friends stay over who were planning on going with us this morning. The plan: to wake up and leave by 7AM. Why? 10:15 showing in Orlando. I got up and pulled an entire pancake breakfast off with vegetarian and meatitarian options in less than 30min. Shuffled out the door by 7:30 and made our way to O-Town.
Wow.
Not only is Daft Punk pullin out all the stops but The graphics, the acting - the fuckin' art direction! It was beautiful - for lack of a better word. Immense. Bewildering. Inspiring. Needless to say I loved it. Watching moveis with Stacston you learn a thing or two and end up not being able to 'just watch' a movie. I find myself searching for or objectively observing foreshadow, character connections to religion, all the fun formula stuff... this movie - there was both but so well done. I want one of those suits. The women's (hell, AND men's) suits were so well developed. the styling. Garrett Hedlund? Where did he come from - such a fuckin nice voice. I loved the caneo of Cillian Murphy. I always enjoy seeing him. There were really no girls that were to my taste but the bodysuits.... yup. Was SO glad that there were no love scenes. not ONE kiss... it was perfect. I was worried for a sec.
Two of my friends and her daughter went with us. They were great. I road with them down and back and had a great time. Sifu and the Kung Fu crew were there too... that was cool.
Now i find myself sifting for the Ipod. I've been meaning to update my ipod with new music so here I sit, listening, planning. and blogging. Currently playing: lost in the world + runaway - Kanye. there's always sonething playing in the house so i've heard most of what is recent but sifting through songs and trying to do it quickly - well some songs just have to play. Lost in the world & Runaway is definetly one of those.
Aquint myself with a few trees and head to the gym - lets see how this works out.
