at work today i thought of this rant i wanted to write down, about ignorant boys and the stupid shit they do to impress girls.
but...i'm tired. don't feel like writing that. i'll just say this though: don't try to compliment a girl in a language you don't know. you look like a slimy moron when you do that.
just be yourself. cause in the end, that's the person we'll either love, hate, or try to change. =)
p.s. i play a game of "questions" with my friends...we try to find out new things about each other or life through asking each other questions. seems simple, eh? well, you'd be surprised how fun it is. there was a LJ meme about this, and i loved it so much i ran with it. here's the best excerpt from tonight's session:

#8) every time i begin to think i understand women, something happens to prove that i'm really pretty clueless, so i've come to accept that i'll never really understand completely what makes you guys tick. and i'm okay with that. but every guy fantasizes at some point in his life that he'll someday magically understand exactly the right thing to say and do in any given situation to make women adore him. now, i know there's no silver bullet, and a lot of what makes for magic between two people is just listening and caring, but, if you had to give a guy once piece of advice, one tip that guys just don't seem to get, that most women just wish guys knew but are either too embarrassed to say or just don't think of it - what would it be? could be in terms of relationships, could be in bed, whatever.
kharnal (11:13 PM) :
"even if you're feeling completely naked and vulnerable; even if you think you'll sound like a total moron; even if you're afraid of sounding weak, or sad, or needy--look the woman you love in the eye and tell her how you feel when she asks. and if you feel nothing, tell her that as well. women read emotions really well, they don't read silence well at all. give them what they want and you'd be surprised how capable of making decisions and open and loving the become when given something to work with."
there you go, boys. the secret to women.
