British uni- a 1st is "bloody good".
For some reason you get upper and lower 2nds:
a 2.1 is, "well done, you've made an effort,"
and a 2.2 is, "well, at least you've turned up to your lectures".
A 3rd is, "well, you registered for your course and put your name on all the exam papers- here's a grade"

It honestly staggers me that people manage to fail a year at uni here...

Badass fact about me:

In the third grade I was bullied by an older kid, as it was a grade3/4 split class and he was a big hulking doofus and I was a smart kid. He sat next to me, this doofus, and every day he'd make fun of me or wallop me with books, or generally find some way to make my life miserable. One day after the class had been doing a craft of some kind using plastecine he was in the bathroom and I was playing with all the plastecine residue on my desk, scraping it up into a ball with a pin. An idea struck. I planted the pin's head in the clay ball, and mounted the pin point-up on doofus' chair. When he came back he sat down, shifted, got up and went to the teacher. He was absent from school for the rest of the week.

Nobody ever fingered me for whatever damage I did there.

i've never had a pedicure, but i had a manicure once (ex gf bought me an afternoon at a man spa). and i've had my balls waxed, twice. not that that has anything to do with anything. but i thought you would like to know.

So let me tell you what happened here. The other bookshelf went down: more space and only useful books left. TV and sofa switched places, mess cleaned and extra crap thrown out. Now my room looks like a room as well. A new sofa is still needed. I can get one from my dad, but if it's too big, I need to go to Ikea. Also my Donald Duck prints are in the mail, as is my Audrey Hepburn poster. After that this place is going to be perfect.
