What are these people thinking? I am the first to say that I disagree with the tactics of Bush and disagree with the concept of a war... but he's legally done nothing wrong.
The Constitution does not protect the rights of other countries.
If Congress voted to declare war on the Dutch because of their Freaky-Dikki accents, it would be perfectly legal. That's the power given to them, in theory.
There are checks and balances, yes, but once those are passed, it's their decision.

I prefer to wait until I'm at least semi-informed before I jump on bandwagons or make statements.. it's uninformed people that give the respective political idealisms bad names... my best friend is quite conservative... but he and I get along fine... he's an intelligent, well-informed person.
I think it's all just a load, political beliefs rarely have much to do with day-to-day life. People are always so anxious to judge people because of their political beliefss..... on that note, I must go to work.
