It has been a while since I have written in this, I suppose I should before people start thinking i'm dead. I feel a little odd, I went down to New Orleans yesterday to get my nipples pierced and to just hang out with some friends and it was just surreal.
Anyone who has ever been to NOLA on a Saturday knows about the crowds and the traffic, to see it yesterday was really a shock. Hardly anyone walking around, I actually found a parking space in the Quarter after 12:00. A few of the stores are open again, but most of the really good bars and cigar shops are still closed.
I had planned to go down for Mardi Gras since they are still going to have it this year, but after yesterday I don't know how much of a party it's going to be. We'll see.
