Ok, not quite a whole month, I'm getting better at this.

Taking a few hours off... need to write about 10,000 words (sensible ones!!) in 10 days...

News from K country: Not a lot really. The Dissertation of Doom (yes, by now it deserves capitals) is finally progressing: I didn't get a valid data set until after the deadline so I have until the 28th December now.

I have a place to live in the 'new' town; just midweek lodgings, I'll be back in Southampton (and the Dungeon, sadly) most weekends, the people I'm renting a room from seem really nice and have a cat which bodes well.

The not-spouse-creature has a job but it does not start until January so it's going to be a scroogy Christmas. I think I'm relying on the trusy M&S vouchers from the aged grandparents to buy Christmas dinner with.

Still, inventive presents... there could be fun with dressing up and playing games there somewhere I think...

I've decided I will get the ink done, and will probably follow MarkR1's helpful advice, but I'm gonna check the studio out in person first and speak with the artist... So Mark, stay out of trouble! I might need that floor space

I'm missing Northern, but I guess he will surface when he is good and ready.

I've not had then chance to read people's blogs and such for a while so I'm gonna stop going on about my humdrum life and read what interesting people have to say and look at pretty girls!
