i've had a constant headache all day today. it's all good, i'm sure it'll be fine in the morning. i'm a little bummed out about today -- i stayed home from school thanks to said headache. yeah, it was nice to just kick back and sleep for once, but i missed out on one of the biggest things that could happen -- my favorite author, chuck palahniuk, hosted a reading and signing for his new book, rant, in pasedena today. since i stayed home sick, my parents wouldn't let me go. my friend mackenzie went with this girl i'm always really envious of and this has done nothing but spur my jealousy of her, which i hate to admit. :/ did any of you go? was it as fantastic as i imagine it was?

prom is this saturday, and i'm pretty stoked. there's 18 people in my group. geez, talk about a truckload. my friend ronnie and i are amazing organizers and managed to line up this beauty for our limo:

it's the "american idol" edition excursion. it has a karaoke machine, stocked soft drinks, playstation 2, strobe lights, lava lamps, VIP booth, and 3 flat screen tv's. i don't think we're even going to leave the limo. forget prom! haha.

also, while my best friend beaman was getting his tattoo recently, i saw this one in the booklet of past work:

i'm really jealous that someone got a steve zhissou tattoo. i think that my friends should keep an eye on me, or else i'll probably get it on my bicep when i'm drunk. haha. i don't drink anymore, but i think i'd get hammered just to wake up with bill murray forever etched into my skin.

...i'm so just kidding, by the way. haha.

oh, and since i was talking about prom, whoever buys me this dress in a size 8 is going to get a big sloppy kiss. it's gorgeousssssss. oh man, i wish i had it for prom on saturday.ah well. :/
