this wednesday (June 1) marks the night i compete in the 2005 Greater Ohio DJ Battle. For those of you unfamiliar with the competition (for which I've been a judge for the past couple of years) click here.

The 3rd annual Greater Ohi DJ Battle continues into it's final week of preliminaries Wednesday June 1st featuring dj's E-Relevant, Neil Jaye, Chris Gonzales, Swiss, Flip and C-Bus alternoclash legend Kevy Kev. This final week of the first rounds easily being the most anticipated of the competition because of Kevy Kev's involvement (he's been a judge for the competition the past 2 years), it should be an interesting night indeed - and with Kev on the decks ( who's likely to mix anything from Bach to Megadeth) , at very least, filled with it's share of the unexpected.
Dudes and DUDETTES! I NEED ya on Wednesday!!! The judging criteri is pretty simple -
3 categories:
1) DJ Skillz (got that covered),
2) Record Selection (see #1)
3) CROWD PARTICIPATION!!!!
I need somma-da SG LOVE in the #3 cat (BIG TIME). I have a FIFTEEN person guest list ( which not only could expand to as many as i want but - includes drink tickets for EACH guest. Yeah - ya heard me you lushes! FREE DRINX!!! ) and with everyone there a-hootin and-a hollerin i;m a LOCK as they would say - plus it's SURE to be a BLAST.

I'vew no idea how the hell you'd get either of those on vinyl, though.
