Bowie fucking rocked! I'm ashamed to admit that i'm MOST familiar with his music through to covers i've heard, (i.e. Bauhaus "Ziggy Stardust", Nirvana "Man Who Sold The World", even the Wallflowers version of "Heroes"). My friend Kim was always a Bowie freak but I never really got into the whole Spider from Mars thing WAY back in the day. And after Modern Love and China Girl (circa 1984 btw) he just kind of faded away for me. His music has always surounded me but never really got IN before. It's like I knew EVERY SONG but never really submerged myself before last night. WOW can this guy put on a show! He hasnt lost a STEP. The lion was moved to tears - It was like we wear seeing the Beatles IN 1966 or something. Really cool. I thought se was going to pass out! I was a HUGE Queen fan so when Under Pressure went down even I almost shed a tear. I'm a bonafide fan now. I owe it all to her.
