Looking up at the sky as it begins to get colder.
All I can feel is a singe of hope coursing through me.
Some days seem longer then others.
Wishing I could just stop time to think for one moment.
I walk down the street thinking as my mind clouds over.
Wanting to take back my life and everything I stand for!

I walk into this room day after day,
Doing the same routine trying to pull myself through.
All I think about is the past weighing me down,
I can feel myself slipping away from reality
And wanting to live simply.

I took being happy for granted,
And I'd give up my life to relive those moments.
Day after day,
I can't even begin to grasp what I need to continue,
But memories are what keep me going,
Wanting to make new ones and live once again.
