Well, t'was a typical visit back home. Dad still talks about nothing but work, and his fiancee's mother is still a total bitch. Nonetheless, I'd say that everything went rather well. Merry Christmas, everyone!

Well, I'm prepared my entertainment for the duration of my visit back home: "Computer Games" magazine. Seeing as how I won't have access to a computer for the entire day that I'm back there, I needed to ensure that I'd have some form of technology-related news. I now have it.

Oh, how I'll miss digg and Slashdot, though. frown

Hahahaha…oh, never mind; I've completely forgotten...

One more day of work for me before Christmas. I'm not really looking forward to driving home, but it'll certainly be nice to visit everyone back there. I don't plan on staying long, though, as I get bored rather easily back there.

For some unexplainable reason, I purchased "Tomb Raider" on DVD today. I absolutely hate Angelina Jolie, yet I'm on some sort of Tomb...

Ha! Well, it seems that the aforementioned (i.e. three journal entries ago) co-worker is now talking to me once again. It only took him a week to come around. People can be so fucking immature at times.
sky:
tell me about! I still have friends who go through bouts of getting in a mood, and "not talking" for a while. No one seems to realise that talking is actually what will sort it out.
*sigh*

I went to see "King Kong" at the theater last night. I actually came away quite impressed with it, which I certainly wasn't expecting. The effects are nothing short of stunning, but it's quite long. I'm talking three hours long. I'm tempted to believe that they could've cut 45 minutes of [unnecessary] footage from the film without even detracting from the finalized project's quality.

Nonetheless,...

I hope I get the time to see it. I thought it looked pretty good. I like dinosaurs biggrin

Wow…Andromeda and Shiva look absolutely stunning in their newly-posted sets. Quite the after-work surprise, I say! smile

Ugh…decisions, decisions…

I really don't want to waste a lot of money on DVD's, but I'm currently trying to decide which (if either) of the following I should purchase:

:: AIRPLANE! :: Newly re-released, this is the "Don't Call Me Shirley!" Edition, and I want it so badly. The price is quite reasonable, as well.

:: Valiant :: This looks like a great movie for...

Hmm…for some odd reason, I'm actually looking forward to going home to visit my family for Christmas this year. Still, I always have a strong urge to visit more people than just my own family, as there are so many people that I've lost touch with.

That said, what're your plans for Christmas?

Good news: I've located a replacement car door for the low, low price of $150. smile

Bad news: I don't have $150 to blow at the moment. frown

Dammit! Some woman hit my car yesterday. I didn't think it was a big deal, as there didn't appear to be any damage to my car. Thus, I didn't bother exchanging insurance information with her. Unfortunately, I'd been looking in the wrong area for damage; I thought she'd hit my car more towards the back, but I realized today that my front passenger-side door isn't...
