Oh, having a technically non-existent job position has its advantages: My annual review is coming up, and there just so happens to be no way of truly measuring my performance in terms of a set review criteria. Thus, I get to be reviewed as a floor associate.
But how can that be? I mean, I don't do the same work that a floor associate does. Well, apparently, I'll automatically get the highest rating possible in areas that have nothing to do with my actual job position. God, I fucking love my job.
