God, I'm such a retard. It would seem as though I shouldn't have been so quick to write zeroes to my hard drive after thinking that my last attempt at installing Gentoo was completely fucked. From what a friend of mine told me at work today, it was actually a very easy (and quick) fix.

Now, I hafta go through all of that bullshit again. *sigh*

But hey, I've got all weekend for that. And I should have the house all to myself.
