Unfortunately, minor problems with my Gentoo installation resulted in my having to start over from the very beginning. Strangely, though the new instructions that I'm following seem to be far more complex, the process seems to be going far more smoothly. The compile times are taking forever, though.
You know, it's sad to say, but the overly-complicated installation process is probably what will ultimately keep Linux out of most households.

unfortunately, i can't really hold it against him. most of the kids i work with are unable to communicate and therefore bite, scratch, hit, punch, etc. when they're frustrated.
