I'm tired of Windows for the time being. I'm thinking of making an attempt at installing Gentoo Linux on my computer. There shouldn't be any sort of lapse in updates, though, as I do have a secondary computer in my bedroom (which will remain a Windows computer).

Actually, there's a third computer in the house, too. I'll only use that one as a last resort, though.

Anyway, Gentoo takes a long-ass time to install completely, since it compiles itself based on each specific machine's hardware. I've heard of it taking more than a day at times, which hopefully won't be the case. I just hope that everything goes smoothly. Wish me luck.
