Imagine my surprise when I realized that this week's paycheck was already deposited into my bank account this morning. At first, I became excited, thinking that today was Friday. I later found out that tomorrow's Veteran's Day, however.
Not to sound disrespectful, but the U.S. has a lot of bullshit holidays. Not that I don't respect veterans or anything, but the saddest part about all of these holidays is that well over 85% of this country's working population sees it as nothing more than a potential paid vacation day. Am I wrong?
P.S. Maybe I'm going crazy, but I seem to be missing two friends. *shrug*

You're right about paid vacation days... there are a lot of people who don't even know what today stands for, i'm quite sure.
