My neighbors seemingly misplaced approximately 1,000 images on their computer, so they requested that I make an attempt at recovering them. I have the images now, but I'm having a ridiculously hard time actually transferring them to my own computer in order to make the backup disc.
Even worse, I feel that their computer is in serious need of being formatted. Unfortunately, it's a Media Center PC, and I have no fucking way of restoring it. Why do 95% of all new computer users not make a fucking system restore disc immediately upon booting their PC's up for the first time? Holy fucking shit. *sigh*
I can tell this is gonna be a bitch, as I know for a fact that locating drivers for this bastard of a computer will be absolutely no fun at all. I have zero experience with Media Center PC's prior to tonight.
