I started playing "Skies of Arcadia" for Dreamcast earlier today. I believe I'll actually make an attempt at playing through the entire game this time around, as I remember having tried twice before and losing interest. The character design is nothing short of remarkable, so I'd definitely like to see all that the game has to offer.
By the way, I've decided to learn C++ instead of C, as I feel that it's the best way to go if I ever plan to develop a video game. It's been a lifelong dream of mine, and it'll never happen if I don't take the first step. I don't anticipate needing much external help until I begin dealing with audio mixing.
Of course, it'll be a long time before I have anything serious going. I'll likely need to start off making retarded little games like Tic-Tac-Toe before I can develop anything serious. Now, all I need to do is get some decent C++ books…
