I can't believe how badly I wasted my entire weekend. Probably the most notable thing that I did during the weekend (other than help my friend out with his computer) was watch the original Star Wars Trilogy in its entirety. And I even stooped to watching Episode I at one point.

After reformatting a friend's computer and reinstalling Windows XP (along with everything else), I honestly believed that the computer should've worked better than before. Not the case. Windows fucking pisses me off. And I think that God hates me. He obviously sees fit to torture me, after all.

Gah! I hate my tendency to experiment with computers. I decided to go a little crazy with my friend's Windows XP registry, and things didn't quite go as planned. Somehow, my actions ending up spawning an unlimited number of windows upon clicking a single e-mail link.

Not good.

My roommates are going away for at least a couple of days (starting sometime tonight), so I'll have the house all to myself this weekend. Sadly, that won't really amount to much more than watching movies and playing video games.

God, I'm sooooooo fucking tired. I'm so glad that tomorrow is Friday. Unfortunately, I'll be staying up really late tomorrow night to help a friend out with his computer. Honestly, it'll be well worth it, though. I love freeing people from the vast majority of Microsoft applications by introducing them to open-source software, as well as various freeware titles.

Ha! I finally received a partial refund from the eBay seller who sold me "Skies of Arcadia". So, I'm putting that $17.00 toward "Grandia" for Sega Saturn. Too bad it's entirely in Japanese. No biggie, though, as I've already located a translation guide on the Internet.

Finally, I've completed "Grandia II" for Dreamcast. Considering the fact that I invested approximately 40 hours of gameplay into it, it's certainly nice to know that I followed through and actually finished it.

Well, it would seem as though I've secured a source for free Pirates tickets once baseball season starts up again. Not that I particularly enjoy baseball or anything, but it's nice to know that I can get free tickets. I just happened to help the right person while working at CompUSA, and he was completely blown away at my knowledge.

Yay! I purchased Dreamcast #7 today. It works beautifully, although the controller that came with it has a small issue that certainly warrants getting it replaced. The right direction on the d-pad doesn't register unless you press it really hard. So, I called the store up and had them set a replacement controller aside for me.
